1. FHAG was invited to take part at this forum following its impressive and significant contribution towards the social economic and humanitarian advancement of the Gambia populate in general and west coast region in particular. revealed at her maiden west coast region technical Advisory committee meeting held at the office of the Governor WCR in January 2014.
FHAG’s Areas of intervention particularly the family project (orphan) was viewed.

2. by the department of social welfare regional coordinator was inline with the government’s social protection policy initiative and based on that FHAG was accorded the invitation and equally deemed as a potential partner.
this two day forum brought region Governors ,councils , agric, health and education directors pls refer to invitation letter. the forum was organized by the ministry of health and social welfare and supported by UNICEF. the participants were asked to look into social participation issue in the country in a bid to ensure a sound and all inclusive social protection policy for the Gambia that is implementable . the forum also looked at the country’s poverty issue , retired workers /civil servants issues vulnerable children etc. this is were FHAG is really concerned. (vulnerable children ). the next roundof the forum will be held in June and FHAG was asked to take part.
